MEDICARE MEETS YOUR ICHRA
When Medicare becomes part of the picture, your employer’s health benefit deserves another look.
This proposed partnership brings Allsup’s Medicare guidance alongside The ICHRA Shop’s employer benefits expertise—so you know which questions to ask, and who can help.
Read CMS guidance on ICHRA and MedicareAn ICHRA can be integrated with Medicare Part A and Part B, or Medicare Advantage. Your plan’s terms determine which expenses can be reimbursed.
Look at premiums, prescriptions, doctors, out-of-pocket costs and your employer’s allowance together.
Review your enrollment timing before changing coverage. Individual insurance and an ICHRA do not work the same way as employer group coverage.
Keep current coverage in place until your options, eligibility and effective dates are confirmed.

FOR THE ICHRA SHOP · PROPOSED PARTNERSHIP
The ICHRA Shop helps employers and brokers make informed benefits decisions. An Allsup referral pathway could add personal support when employees encounter Medicare, disability or a return to work.
A complementary service model, with roles and referral terms agreed before launch.
A FEW THINGS YOU MAY BE WONDERING
Start here, then get help with
the details of your situation.
No coverage decision is required to explore guidance. Review your current coverage, needs and eligibility before deciding whether any change makes sense.
An ICHRA may work with enrollment in Medicare Part A and Part B, or Medicare Advantage. Reimbursement depends on your employer’s plan terms and coverage requirements. Confirm eligible expenses with the ICHRA administrator.
Do not assume that it does. Individual health insurance funded through an ICHRA is different from coverage under an employer group health plan. Ask about Medicare enrollment timing before delaying Part B or changing coverage. Review Medicare enrollment guidance.
Allsup Employment Services is a Social Security-authorized Employment Network. Its Ticket to Work services can help eligible beneficiaries explore employment and understand how working may affect benefits. Eligibility and benefit rules depend on the individual.
This is a proposed partnership experience, not an active referral service. The guided preview does not request personal information or send a referral. A live launch would require agreed referral routing, service terms and appropriate consent and privacy disclosures.
